The daily mooch supporting local businesses and each other.

Mooching about, clearing the head trying to stay positive in these uncertain times. Supporting local and independent businesses where I can. From the daily food shop, wonder around the. charity shops, and still get my fix of some of Edinburgh best bars and restaurants (takeaway of course).

More so now than ever, we need to support our local independent businesses!! If we don’t, before we know it they will all be gone. When I’m not out buying bits and bobs, I’ll try to give folk a mention across social media...its tough times for most folk, so every bit really does help.

What are you doing to support local independent businesses? Could you do more? ....

As well as supporting local businesses, we need to be there for each other, hard times can really bring dark times too. It’s not all about spending money to make people feel better, it can be as little as a simple a polite hello while passing a stranger, a quick check in with a relative or friend.

Stay active , go for a mooch (walk) make the most of the time off. Be productive and stay positive. Stay strong , stay safe , stop scrolling.

Check in with people remember it’s good to talk! Keep on keeping on...
